CDI Stage Options

Stage 1 — Stock Bore Engine
Designed for KLX140 engines with the factory bore and stock cylinder head. This is the correct option for stock-displacement engines or lightly modified bikes that have not been fitted with a big bore kit.

Stage 2 — Big Bore Kit with Stock Cylinder Head
Designed for engines equipped with a big bore kit while retaining the factory cylinder head and valve configuration.

Stage 3 — Big Bore Kit with Big Valve Cylinder Head
Designed for highly modified engines equipped with both a big bore kit and an aftermarket big valve cylinder head.

Fitment

Fits Kawasaki KLX140 models from 2008 to current, including applicable KLX140, KLX140L, KLX140G, KLX140R, KLX140RL, and KLX140RF configurations.

Be sure to select the correct KLX140 model option when ordering. Connector wiring and ground-wire locations can vary between models.

Selecting the incorrect model option may require repining the ECU ground wire before installation.
